Our client has launched their graduate / school leaver programme, to recruit two candidates for their Guernsey office. The roles are split into four core skills which are flexible to allow the successful applicant to grow into the area of their choosing by undertaking professional qualifications. You will work with Chartered Accountants to understand how accounts are built, enjoy training on general ledger maintenance and learn about the Company Secretary role by preparing for Board meetings, report writing and assisting with the collation of meeting papers. You will also take a look at Compliance by understanding the nature of regulations and how to work with them and additionally underwriting and insurance management, looking at pricing risk and understanding policy. You will be expected to complete a professional qualification where support and study leave will be provided. Supported qualifications are ACCA / CAT / CII / ICSA.
