Accounts Assistant

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic & experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Management Accountancy team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for providing support to the team, for a period of 3-6 months, possibly longer. Key duties will include accounts receivable, cash allocation, processing payments, VAT returns, client and company accountancy and administration tasks, as well as bank reconciliations and ledger work. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ relevant experience, with strong excel and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to think outside of the box.

Finance Assistant

Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their small team, on a temporary basis for a period of 9 months, to assist in processing invoices for the company’s purchase and sales ledgers, deal with queries in a timely and professional manner whilst also ensuring that company policies and procedures are adhered to. You will bookkeep a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures, complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, as well as deal with the completion of routine audit queries.

Client Accountant

As a Client Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of accounts for all Fiduciary Clients, ensuring that the correct accounting information is provided to the Fiduciary Department consistently and efficiently to meet client needs. Key duties of the role will include effectively planning preparation of allocated cases, liaising with Case Officers and the Lead Client Accountant, assisting the Lead Client Accountants with various duties including accounts reviews, provide bookkeepers with technical support and expertise, ensure queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively to maintain client confidence, as well as ensuring personal financial and non-financial targets are met. This 6 month temporary role would suit an individual who is CAT qualified, or possess Accounts Prep and Trust & co experience.

Our client is seeking a newly qualified ACCA / ACA / CA(SA) / CIMA or equivalent accreditation, to join their Branch Finance team, on a temporary basis for a period of 12 months. You will assist in the preparation and analysis of group, statutory, regulatory and management financial reporting requirements for the Group in the Jersey Branch and related entities, reconciling various systems and reports used in management and financial reporting as well as Accounts Payable. In addition, you will assist in Audit, Forecasting and Budgeting processes and responding and dealing with ad-hoc requests in a prompt and professional manner, escalating to line manager where required. This role would suit a candidate with experience within an accountancy / audit based role along with good Excel and analytical skills.
